Everything you need to know before developing a custom tubular slide
What is the internal diameter of your tubular slides?
All models in our standard range have an internal diameter of Ø800 mm.
This is the reference diameter in the European market for playground installations, suitable for children aged 3 and above and compatible with EN 1176 standards.
What is the difference between the GRP composite tubular slide and the polyethylene one?
The GRP composite, manufactured using RTM injection, offers greater structural rigidity, higher-quality surface finishes, and is the preferred option for spirals and complex configurations.
Rotationally molded polyethylene is 100% recyclable and is the most common option for projects with sustainability or green purchasing criteria.
Both materials comply with EN 1176 and are equally durable outdoors.
What are translucent modules and what are they used for?
Translucent modules are tube sections made from transparent material and placed on the upper part of the slide.
They serve two purposes: they allow natural light to enter the inside of the tube during the slide, and they make adult supervision from the outside easier.
They are available for the modules in our GRP range: straight sections, elbows, and spirals.
Can you manufacture a fully custom-made tubular slide?
Yes, in addition to our standard modular range, we manufacture fully custom-made tubular slides in composite: multi-turn spirals, specific heights and dimensions, and corporate colors.
What is the usual delivery time?
For production orders, the lead time depends on the model and volume, and we confirm it before you confirm the order.
Because we manufacture without subcontracting, we control the real lead times, without depending on imports or third parties.
Is it possible to combine different colors in the same installation?
Yes, and it is something we do regularly.
Modules can be combined in different colors within the same installation, for example, blue straight modules and orange elbows — at no additional cost for orders with standard colors.
It is also possible to include translucent modules alternating with colored modules to create specific visual effects, only if the slide is made from GRP.
